Terms and conditions
These terms apply to the use of rescuecatalog.com and to services paid with credits. The provider is Techfunder World AG, Industriestrasse 9, 6302 Zug, Switzerland (imprint).
1. For businesses and organisations only
Our offer is directed exclusively at businesses, public bodies and organisations for their professional activity, not at consumers.
2. Catalogue and quotes
Product information and photos come from manufacturers and suppliers; actual products may differ. The catalogue is not a binding offer, and prices are given on request. A contract for goods is only formed by a written quote and its written confirmation, which also set out delivery and payment terms.
3. Information about aid requests
The aid requests come from public sources. We are not connected with the buyers and give no guarantee that a request is complete, correct or still open, or that you will win a contract.
4. Account and credits
You keep your details up to date and your private account link confidential; anyone who has it can use your credits. We may block an account in case of misuse.
Credits are bought in packs through Stripe and added to your account after payment. They can only be used for the services listed below; the cost is shown before you confirm. Credits are not money: they carry no interest, cannot be transferred to another account and are not paid out, except under section 6. Credits do not expire.
Current packs:
- 100 credits: €100 / $115
- 550 credits: €500 / $575
- 2400 credits: €2,000 / $2,300
5. Services paid with credits
- Request details (25 credits): buyer, reference number, source and research notes appear at once and stay unlocked.
- Request alerts (10 credits per e-mail): at most one e-mail a week, only when new matching requests exist.
- Kit specification (490 credits): specification with item list, sizes and a cost range per kit; target: within 2 working days.
- Sample (150 credits): a deposit deducted from the sample price; we agree the sample price and shipping cost with you before anything is sent.
- Priority quote (50 credits): an answer to your quote list; target: within 1 working day.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Switzerland.
6. Refunds
If we cannot deliver an ordered service, the credits are returned to your account. Unused credits are refunded to the original payment method if you ask within 14 days of the purchase. Used credits are not refunded.
7. Prices and payment
The prices shown at purchase apply, in EUR or USD. Stripe processes the payment, and you receive an invoice by e-mail. Taxes are charged where they apply.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. Otherwise our liability is excluded as far as legally permitted, and in any case limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned.
9. Data protection
How we process data is described in the privacy policy.
10. Changes
We may change these terms and publish the new version here. Credits already bought remain subject to the terms in force at the time of purchase.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland.
